Holyarrow is the epic black metal that conjures the 90’s Eastern European styles into their unique Hokkien aesthetic of rich instrumentation, triumphant melodies and sweeping historical ambiance. Painting on the canvas of mostly poignant history, each work of Holyarrow is about brave struggle of Hokkien people against the odds of time.

Holyarrow is all about the struggle of national identity.

Fast forwarding 250 years since the Lord Koxinga’s heroic resistance to Qing Dynasty that depicted in Oath of Allegiance I, Holyarrow charges into another era of turbulent times.

勝利萬歲！or Long Live Victory! in English, the 3rd full length album of Holyarrow, is based on a series of historical events happened from 1911, the Xinhai revolution which successfully wiped out the Manchus colonists and founding of first republic in East Asia, to 1945 the final victory of Republic of China against Imperial Japan and conclusion of the Second Sino-Japanese War.

8 tracks represent 8 true stories of heroism and bravery of Chinese people fighting for the national awakening and right of existence, Holyarrow reborn from royal Ming legionaries into National Revolutionary Army troops and ready to make one last death stand.

On this album Holyarrow plays National Revolutionary Black Metal! 國民革命黑金屬！

Before controversy start, the military uniforms in this picture is National Revolutionary army uniform, like many countries during that era, National Government of the Republic of China
modernized their army after Prussian army and then - German army.
